Overview

The Cancun jungle tours are one of the most practical Cancun water sports. Departing from the heart of the Cancun Hotel Zone and only takes up half of your day.

Drive your own speedboat through the canals of the Nichupte lagoon amidst the mangroves.

While you are snorkeling in Cancun the underwater life that you will see is impressive, surrounded by thousands of colorful fish and coralline structures. On this trip you will visit two different parts of the reef to snorkel and you will spend around one hour and a half in the water. The clear and warm waters of the Mexican Caribbean make snorkeling an enjoyable activity for amateur adults and children as well. You will find colorful angel, parrot and damselfish, moray eels, rays and turtles and others at shallow depths.

Schedules

Departures: This trip departs every day in two different schedules from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. or from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

What's Included

Round trip transportation, one hour and a half of snorkeling in two different points of reef, beach club for lunch (chicken or beef fajitas), two drinks at lunch (beer or soft drinks), free time in Puerto Morelos main square.

Recommendations

Avoid using regular suntan lotions, they damage the coral and pollute the water. Try biodegradable suntan lotions instead. Please do not touch the coral or remove shells or other marine creatures from the reef.

Additional Information

To get in to the reef and with underwater camera, the permit cost is about $2 US per person (this fee might change without previous notice).
