Overview

Xcaret park is located 74 km or one hour south of Cancun, this nature theme park is the place for a fun-filled day with the family. Xcaret Plus have activities for everyone including swimming in underground rivers, dolphin encounters, diving, fishing, snorkeling and horse riding.

Don’t miss the aquarium, butterfly pavilion, botanical garden, mushroom farm, sea turtle tanks, the aviary and regional wildlife compounds. As you walk along the paths through the forest you’ll come across Mayan temples, the legacy of the days when Xcaret or Pole was a port. If you are interested in the Maya, take a few minutes to stroll around the Museum where the Maya Worlds most important cities are showcased in miniature, and you must visit the Ball Court and the Mayan Village.

If this sounds like too much activity, there are beaches with sunbeds, hammocks under the palm trees and several restaurants to choose from. Stay on for the evening extravaganza of Mexican music and dance called Xcaret de Noche.
