Coba Mayan encounter & Ziplines

An activity-packed jungle adventure that includes a dash of Mayan history and nature, zip lining, a kayak trip and rappel.
First stop is Coba, one of the largest archaeological sites discovered to date in the Maya World. Indeed Coba is so vast that only a small area has been excavated and glimpses of ancient temples under a tangle of jungle creepers adds to the thrill of exploring the site. The principal building at the site is the Nohoch Mul Pyramid, 42 meters high, it is the tallest Mayan monument in the northern Yucatan.
It's a short drive from Coba to the Mayan village where you will start your jungle adventures. You'll try your hand at zip lining, paddle a kayak across a lagoon, rappel down the side of a cenote wall and snorkel in the still, clear waters of a pool deep in a cave.
During the day, you'll also have the chance to meet the Maya as you join a local guide for a short nature walk through the forest, witness an ancient ritual performed by a Mayan priest and enjoy a tasty buffet lunch of traditional dishes from the Yucatan.

Wear trousers, comfortable walking shoes and a hat. Bring your swimsuit, biodegradable insect repellent and sun block. Drink plenty of bottled water. Do not forget your camera. You should always ask for permission before taking photos of the Maya people.
