Life jackets are mandatory, and only two guests per boat plus the guide are allowed in the water at a time—always maintaining a respectful distance from the wildlife.

Don't forget your underwater camera. Wear a hat, comfortable cotton clothing and shoes. Bring your swimsuit and towel. Please wear a t-shirt instead of using sunscreen before entering the water.

The whale shark sighting season runs from mid-May to mid-September
The minimum age to swim alongside the whale shark is 8 years old. Children under 8 are not allowed to participate in the activity, even as passengers on the boat.
This activity takes place in the open sea. Depending on weather conditions, waves may cause the boat to rock, which could result in seasickness. We suggest: staying well hydrated before and during the activity, avoiding excessive alcohol consumption the day before, wearing UV protective clothing, and bringing motion sickness medication if you think it's necessary.
